Summary:

Aldebaran Resources (TSXV: ALDE; OTCQX: ADBRF) has an 80% interest in the Altar copper-gold project in mining-friendly San Juan province, Argentina (home to Filo, McEwen Copper, Glencore).

The Altar project includes a substantial existing pit-constrained resource that will grow as recent drilling campaign has focused on a newly discovered porphyry centre called Altar United. More than 63,000 metres of drilling has been completed on the project since the last resource estimate.

Aldebaran is advancing the Altar project with a mineral resource update scheduled for November 2024 and a Preliminary Economic Assessment planned for Q2 2025.

Aldebaran recently signed an option agreement with Rio Tinto whereby Rio will pay Aldebaran $US 250 M over the next ~2 years to acquire a 20% interest in the Altar Project
