Exciting Opportunity: Investor Relations Position at CEM

At CEM, we’re currently searching for a skilled individual to join our team as an Investor Relations Associate. In this role, you’ll be a pivotal member of our Investor Relations team, actively engaging with potential investors and overseeing communication strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, engage, and attract potential new investors.
- Act as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries and managing investor communications.
- Act as a primary point of outreach to keep our existing investor database up to date on live events and virtual meeting series offerings.
- Educating new investors on all facets of our business and identifying new potential opportunities.
- Working on our Virtual Meeting Series setting up and hosting introductory calls between our investor and issuer clientele.
- Developing and executing on investor relations strategies individually and with the investor relations team.
- Identifying and keeping up with market trends, keeping up with investor sentiments and their outlook on market trends.
- Communicating regularly with our events team to ensure investor registrations and information are accurate and up to date.
- Regular communication with the partners/executives on new information regarding our investor database and/or any new investment opportunities.
- Ability to travel and accompany events team on select weekend destination events
Required skills:
- Strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of financial markets, including knowledge of investment analysis, valuation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively pitch deals to our investor network.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to interact confidently and professionally with investors.
- Strong ability to work in a team environment, having a hand in applying skillset to multi-faceted disciplines within the company in addition to the Investor Relations team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy of protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
